Thomas E. Walsh, CPA, CFE
Partner
Tom Walsh has over 25 years of accounting, auditing, and tax experience and has specialized in providing services to middle-market, privately held companies with focuses on manufacturing, distribution, and retail, construction and real estate developers. He is also well-versed in consolidation and reporting matters, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and due diligence.
Tom graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1995 and designated as a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2006. He then served as a principal with Nishball, Carp, Niedermeier, Pacowta & Co., then was made partner with BlumShapiro after a merger in 2009. He left BlumShapiro in December of 2017 to found Walsh & Dickinson.
Joshua M. Dickinson, CPA, CFE
Partner
Josh has over 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and taxes. He has provided services to a wide variety of middle-market, privately held businesses with focuses on manufacturing, distribution, retail, real estate, and professional service. Josh also specializes in audits of employee benefit plans.
Josh graduated from Bryant College (now Bryant University) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Josh started his career with Nishball, Carp, Niedermeier, Pacowta & Co. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1999 and designated as a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2006. He held a managerial role with BlumShapiro, who acquired Nishball, Carp, Niedermeier, Pacowta & Co. in 2009, prior to leaving to start Walsh & Dickinson in 2017.
Rebecca (Bocco) Teixeira,
CPA, MBA
Audit Principal
Becky is an experienced Audit Principal with over 12 years in public accounting, specializing in assurance services including audits, reviews, and compilations. She oversees attestation engagements across a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, retail, and franchisors. Additionally, Becky has extensive expertise in employee benefit plan audits, including 401(k) and pension plans.
Prior to joining Walsh & Dickinson, Becky worked at Blum Shapiro until 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University (2012) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford (2016).
Kayla Hipona
Senior Accountant
Kayla is a Senior Accountant specializing in tax and audit services. Since joining the firm in 2022, Kayla has developed extensive experience in preparing individual, business, estate and trust tax returns.
Kayla also plays a key role in audit, review, and compilation engagements, and leads employee benefit plan audits. A graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, Kayla earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2022. Kayla is currently pursuing her goal of becoming a CPA in the near future.
Bryan M. Bochicchio
Staff Accountant
Bryan joined Walsh & Dickinson in 2025 as a Staff Accountant. In this role, he supports a variety of accounting and tax services, including the preparation of individual and business tax returns, and non-profit Form 990 filings. Bryan also assists with audit, review, compilation, and employee benefit plan engagements, and provides accounting services to small businesses, including QuickBooks support.
Bryan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2023 and completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting in 2024. He is currently working toward obtaining his CPA, with a strong commitment to growing professionally in the field of public accounting.
